No, this is not my office below. This is also a tad over the top.
My office has not done anything yet. So I am ahead of the game with my decor:

i dont have an office.... i mostly spend my time hating on those with time to decorate their office

I’m remote but my company normally has a tree for each department (usually fake), and some in the lobby (usually real). Various other decorations as people have enthusiasm. Usually departmental parties and then a big company party (used to be a formal event at a hotel, but money is tight so they’ve dialed it back a bit with a party at HQ, but it’s not as chill as I like my holiday extravaganzas).
Oh, and we also have a month of C hristmas music in the cafeteria, which I loathe, though gives me sympathy for our retail workers who have to deal with that all day long.

We just moved in to a new office and the CEO is now determined to get a Christmas tree and do a little decorating. The HR guy, who is also my boss somehow, is hesitant because one of our employees is a Jehovah’s Witness and such things are evil to them. A compromise was reached for a tree with no overt religious symbols on it. As a godless heathen (as are my boss and the CEO) it makes absolutely no difference to me.

We’re fully decked out because ownership is very, very, very Of Belief. There’s an inflatable manger outside the showroom door. Inflatable baby Jesus outside of a business. Hmm, alright.

I approved buying a new tree this year, to replace our 20 year old one that was falling apart and dropping needles everywhere.
So, we’ve got a tree, some white lights and garlands around the reception desk, two wreathes on the walls, and a toy truck on the end table in the waiting area.
I’m not totally sure upper management wants us to do holiday decorations at all, but it is something that’s apparently always been done, and I’d have a revolt on my hands if I tried to stop it.

Which is odd, because the tree itself is one, big religious symbol. I mean, its been secularized to the point where most non-religious people don’t really have a problem with it anymore, but someone who’s religion specifically teaches against it is probably still going to care.

We don’t do much, my office works in small teams so some go nuts, others do nothing. Our team isn't doing anything.

Ba humbug. I duck out of the office Christmas party as soon as possible. No decorations for me. Other than the feeble remnants of my soul barely hanging on to my keyboard as I count down the years to retirement. Happy fucking Christmas!
Ps sorry, life sucks and the holidays sucks right now.

I'll find out at the new job, but being a government office I feel pretty confident venturing a not much. We are having a big holiday meal together for lunch one day next week.

I don’t decorate my office for holidays. I’ve always thought it a bit tacky and unnecessary . But with that said, I don’t care enough if my colleagues decorate their offices.
We do decorate our house though. Nothing crazy, some lights around the windows and door in front, and a menorah in the window, because the fair lady a ardvark is a (non-p racticing) member of the chosen people.
